What this company is
We offer emergency and scheduled plumbing for homeowners, landlords and small businesses. The line is open 24 hours, every day, so a burst pipe at midnight gets the same answer as a slow drain on a Tuesday afternoon.
This page explains how a job works from the first ring to the finished repair, so you know what to expect before you call.
How a job works from first call to finished repair
Every job follows the same four steps.
- 1
You call
A dispatcher answers and asks where the problem is, what you see and whether the water is shut off.
- 2
A plumber is assigned
A licensed and insured plumber is scheduled. Same-day appointments are offered when the schedule allows, and we do not promise a specific arrival time.
- 3
You get a price
The plumber looks at the problem and states the price before work starts. You can agree, ask questions or decline.
- 4
The work is done
The plumber completes the repair, explains what was found and tells you what to watch for afterward.
How pricing works
We do not give prices over the phone without seeing the details, because a clogged drain can be a five-minute fix or a root problem forty feet down the line. Guessing helps nobody.
Instead, the plumber diagnoses the problem and gives you a clear price before work starts. If the job turns out to be different once a wall or floor is open, the plumber tells you before going further. Pricing factors include access, parts, time of day and the scope of the repair.
What we do and what we do not do
We would rather be honest about limits now than surprise you later.
What we do
- Plumbing repairs and installations in homes and businesses, from drain cleaning to repiping
- Water heater work, including tankless units
- Leak finding and repair, inside the house and on the supply line
- Commercial plumbing for shops, restaurants and offices
What we do not do
- Give a firm price by phone without seeing the problem
- Promise a response time for gas leaks, which should go to the gas utility or 911 first
- Do panel or building wiring, HVAC repair or appliance repair
- Start work before you approve the price
If your problem involves panel wiring, an air conditioner or a gas smell, we will tell you so and point you to the right kind of help. You can browse everything we handle on the services page.
How to verify any plumber's license
Our plumbers are licensed and insured, and we want you to check that for any contractor, ours included.
- 1
Ask who is coming
Before the visit, ask for the contractor's company name and license status.
- 2
Open the state lookup
The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation runs a Verify a Licensee search at myfloridalicense.com. Search by name or business.
- 3
Check status and type
Look for an active Certified Plumbing Contractor or registered plumbing contractor license. Florida plumbing contractor licenses start with CFC for certified and RF for registered.
- 4
Remember what a receipt is not
A local business tax receipt is not a license. Under Florida law, unlicensed contracting is a crime, and an unlicensed contractor cannot enforce their contract.
Drain cleaning alone does not have a mandatory license requirement under the statute, but for anything beyond clearing a line we recommend a licensed contractor.
Plumbing that knows Wellington
Wellington incorporated in 1995, and the median home here was built that same year. Most of the village's homes date from 1980 to 2009, so water heaters, supply lines and fixtures are often reaching the end of their lives. Knowing that helps a plumber ask better questions and find causes faster.
The village is also served by two water utilities. Wellington Utilities covers most of it, while Palm Beach County Utilities serves addresses east of State Road 7. Check your water bill to see which utility serves you. That tells you who to call about a main break and who to call about a leak inside the house.
How calls are handled
Calls to our line may be recorded for quality and training purposes. Our privacy policy explains what this site collects.
This website has no forms. Every button is a phone link, so you speak to a person instead of waiting for an email reply. You can also reach us at contact@247plumberwellingtonfl.com for non-urgent questions, though a phone call is always faster for a plumbing problem.
Questions homeowners ask
Yes. The line is open 24 hours, every day, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Yes. We dispatch licensed and insured plumbers. You can verify any plumbing contractor through the Florida DBPR.
Not a firm one. The plumber needs to see the problem. Once they do, you get a clear price before work starts.
If you suspect a gas leak, leave the building and call the gas utility or 911 first. We do not promise a response time for gas emergencies. Call us afterward for any plumbing repair.
Wellington, plus nearby western Palm Beach County towns. Our service area page lists them, and there is a dedicated page for Royal Palm Beach.
